Meals at The Anderson provide choice, variety and good nutrition. Alternate choices of entrees, vegetables and desserts are offered. Beverages and snacks are available at all times. Residents may choose where they eat, either in the dining room or their rooms. Residents may keep food/snacks in their room as long as all food items are kept in a sealed container.
Yes. Our admission agreement explains the correspondent resident responsibilities relevant to this choice.
Our home is your home. Residents may receive visitors at any time.
For the safety and security of all our residents’, all your visitors must check in at the reception office during regular business hours or at the main nurses’ station at other times. Visitors must be courteous and respectful of the other residents in our home. Children are welcome and encouraged to visit.

All visitors must sign in and be screened for Covid . Visitors must wear masks at all times in accordance with CMS ands CDC requirements .
Yes, friendly, house-trained pets are welcome in our facility. Out of consideration to other residents, pets are not allowed in the dining room area.
Yes. The beautician is generally available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Payment for beautician services is expected at the time of service.
To enhance the comfort of our residents’ stay in our home, we recommend they bring such things as: personal clothing, favorite ‘brand name’ personal care items, family photo albums, pictures, favorite wall decorations or knick-knacks, eye glasses, personal address book, TV, radio, computer.
A recliner or favorite chair is allowed, as long as it is made from fire retardant materials. Other small pieces of furniture are allowed, too. However, the nursing home provides a bed, dresser, nightstand and bedside chair.
Our rates include room and board, cable television, newspapers, local phone calls, laundry, personal care items, incontinence products, nonprescription medications. We do not itemize bill.
Yes, All of the rooms of our nursing home are certified for Medicare and Medicaid. This means that residents do not have to move to another facility, just because they have exhausted their funds and become eligible for Medicaid or Medicare. Phone service for Medicaid and Medicare residents is provided for a nominal fee.
No. However, in end of life situations, family members are welcome to stay with the resident, around the clock.
Yes, residents may come and go as they please. The admission agreement explains when Medicaid and Medicare eligibility is negatively impacted by absences from the facility.
